Just missing her due date of Valentine's Day, Ok To Love delivered her first foal at 5 a.m. on February 15, 2009. A friendly colt by Closing Argument, who loves attention and already welcomes having his withers scratched, he was rightly nicknamed "Romeo".

"Roo" at 4 months
At 2 a.m. on February 19, Auntie Wainwright delivered her first foal, a colt by WhyWhyWhy. Two weeks early and presenting upside down, the resident vet had to help Mom with her first birthing. But "Little Roo" found his feet fast and was up and nursing in no time.

Dipper's Image delivered her first foal at 12:15 a.m. on February 23, 2009, a big boned, long legged filly by Fantasticat. "Mira" is definitely a Momma's Girl, as she imitates Mom out in the fields.

Swain out of Winnie Mae
Born at 1:15 a.m. on March 1, 2009, Winnie Mae had a beautiful filly by Swain. Meryl is sweet, friendly and classy for a young foal. Mom has no problem showing her off to the staff, but likes to keep her close by her side out in the field. Meryl likes to make a break for it and have Mom chase her around.

Fantasticat out of LawleyPop
Another Fantasticat, but this time a colt out of LawleyPop, born on March 6, 2009....early of course. He is ranking as the most lovely foal in the barn...curious, friendly and loves to run around.

St. Averil out of Lizaine
On March 8, 2009, Lizaine delivered her St. Averil filly at 5 a.m. Legs, legs and more legs, this not so little filly got herself nicknames "Spider" as she scurried across the stall trying to figure out how to get up and balance on such long legs.

Havana 09 Loving the Outside
Havana didn't make a big show of delivering, simply laid down in her stall at 3 p.m. on March 20 and had her very athletic little filly by St. Averil. Up and nursing in no time flat, this little filly has been moving ever since. She loves to run the field and seems to have no end to her energy.
Oratory Filly out of Blossom Cove
March 25, Blossom Cove delivered her Oratory filly just after midnight. Once again, Blossom managed to produce one of the largest foals of the year, standing at 11.2h. But a first for Blossom.....a chestnut!

"Rye Rye" at 3 months
Cory's Secret had her last foal on March 28 at 2 in the afternoon. This Fantasticat colt was the largest foal she's ever had and a good ending to her career as a broodmare. The proud Mom was more than happy to share her newborn with staff.
