Cordelia Stables is a thoroughbred nursery and lay up facility featuring services that include broodmare care, foaling, care of horses from weanling through 2 years old, sales preps and lay-ups. Located in Harford County, this state of the art facility nestled on 50 acres, features a custom designed barn with 12' X 14' stalls, closed circuit TV, keepsafe fencing, and rubber brick pavers in all the aisles. Cordelia Stables is served by an experienced resident equine veternarian and a professional management staff.

Cordelia is a family owned and operated facility. We believe that a confident, well adjusted horse that performs willingly is a horse that will maximize its abilities throughout its life. With that philosophy in mind, we take as much time as is necessary with each horse in our care to provide the necessary foundation for achieving these goals. Whether a new born, weanling or yearling, whether a broodmare or a lay up, we modify our program and care for the individual horse and its needs.
